While small weddings or microweddings have gained popularity in the recent years, this should not affect the way a wedding day is captured for a bride and groom. Small weddings may not have everything a full day wedding couple usually goes for (i.e. invitation suite, bridal party, fancy decor, 8-10 hours of photo coverage), a microwedding can be captured just as magically with everything you may want to see in your wedding album!
I am so excited to share this beautiful DC Wedding at the Tudor Place Historic House and Gardens today! Jennifer and Joshua (like many of my couples) were relaxed and full of joy on their wedding day.
Engagement sessions can seem intimidating since these are some of your first professional portraits together as a couple. However, the best way to get comfortable in front of the camera is to schedule an engagement session with your wedding day photographer! Not only does this give you a chance to get to know and connect with your photographer, but you also get to learn the core poses for your wedding day photography.

Stone Tower Winery is a GORGEOUS venue in Leesburg, Virginia for weddings, proposals, & anniversaries. With so many options outdoors around the rolling hills for photos and also the indoor space with all the natural light coming in through the windows, this may be the venue for your dream wedding!

Nadine and I went to grad school together at Georgetown University and she was always the sweetest girl to have around! Always cheerful and wearing her beautiful smile.
Finally getting to upload my work on the blog! Sam & Adrian are one of my firsts here since they celebrated their 1st Wedding Anniversary yesterday. Going through their photos is taking me back to their sweet wedding that took place at Sam’s sister’s home in Maryland. I used to think that weddings at home […]
A common mistake many brides make (I was one of them!!) is not being prepared for their wedding day photography. Your wedding day photography (and videography) is a HUGE deal, brides! You don’t want to go through your final photos and wish you would have discussed about any poses or details that may have been missed. […]
